On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Project Manager to lead a Technology Services Transformation Program, building a secure, resilient, modern IT environment that ensures high system availability and effectively supports organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop an overall program plan and align workstreams and projects to overall strategic objectives.
• Partner with VP, TS to articulate vision/future state and ensure cohesive, coordinated program drives toward common, clear, and widely understood goals/objectives.
• Collaborate with the TS Leadership team to prioritize initiatives and guide the development of a TS Transformation roadmap
• Communicate deliverables, milestones, and transformation “story” to both internal (front-line and executive members) and external stakeholders (client partners, vendors, etc).
• Build a business case for presentation to the Board in April 2025.
• Coordinate governance, financials, risk management, and communication across the program workstreams.
• Define metrics for success and regularly report program progress to a variety of stakeholders.
• Provide direction and alignment, together with the TS, and PMO on resource allocation and timelines for the Change Manager and project managers assigned to projects within the program.
• Collaborate with other Program Managers and ePMO for lessons learned, dependencies, and potential change collisions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of program and change management experience.
• Transformational leadership and track record of making Technology Services change; Demonstrated change leadership with a track record of modernizing Technology Services for a complex organization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively monitor and execute project plans with stringent timelines.
• Experience tracking and measuring success through KPIs and program outcomes, such as improved service delivery, or user satisfaction.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale technology modernization projects such as cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, or service management tool implementations (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Excellent skills in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation for projects and programs.
• Analytical and broad-based technical knowledge/skills; with the ability to think through details and tactics without losing sight of overall strategic goals.
• Relationship building, collaboration, and communication skills at all levels including end-users to C-level, business and technical teams, and internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including business and presentation skills.
• Strong team leadership skills that motivate and encourage collaboration.
• Preference is given to those with IT/infrastructure, ITIL, IT operating model transitions, and/or public sector project experience.
Pay Rate: $110-$125
