On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Pharmacy Surveillance Project Manager to support the Pharmacy, IPAC, and Clinical Pharmacy Surveillance projects. Working with the Oracle Health, IMIT, and team members along with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan and manage the execution of the project tasks for design, build, testing, and implementation of the Pharmacy, IPAC, and Clinical Pharmacy Surveillance projects in conjunction with the CIS.


Responsibilities:

• Project oversight of resources and stakeholders;

• Managing timelines and milestones, including maintenance of WBS & schedules and scope;

• Documenting outcomes;

• Monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of activities to the appropriate Leadership team members;

• Risk and issue management related to their assigned project(s); and

• Decision management and governance activities related to their assigned project(s)


Qualifications:

Knowledge and skills in the areas of Project Management methodologies, IM/IT tools, applications and systems of support.

• Undergraduate degree. Consideration will be given to those with equivalent training and work experience.

• Project Management Certification (PMP) required.

• Master’s degree an asset, particularly in health administration, leadership, masters of business administration.

• Certified Health Executive (CHE) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) designation an asset.

• IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professions (PMO) and/or organizational change management certification an asset.

Previous knowledge or experience related to a Pharmacy implementation with Oracle Health is an asset.


Relevant Skills and Experience

Minimum of 3 to 5 years leadership experience with IT/IM Services, project management, programs and services.

• Project Management experience in a complex health care organizational environment preferred.

• Strong knowledge of health care issues

• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units

• Experience in leading a large scale EMR implementation with Cerner/Oracle Health or other large scale EMR preferred

• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Excellent verbal, and written communication and influencing skills

• Experience in working with patient care leader
