On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Financial System SaaS Migration Project Manager to lead the transition of their existing on-premise Unit4 Financial System to a SaaS model provided by the vendor. 


Responsibilities:

• Project Management & Delivery: Developing and executing a project plan for the ERP migration, aligning with business objectives, IT strategy, and security policies. Responsibilities include defining project scope, setting milestones, managing timelines, resource planning, risk management, and establishing long-term support models.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Acting as the primary liaison between Metro Vancouver's internal departments (Finance, IT), Unit4, and third-party vendors. This includes managing change, coordinating training, communications, and adoption strategies for end-users, and working closely with vendors on data compatibility, migration strategy, and API integration.

• Technical & Platform Migration Oversight: Overseeing the migration plan, ensuring data validation, reconciliation, and cleanup, redeveloping customizations, managing integrations with other systems (HR, Budgeting, Revenue, etc.), reassessing workflows, validating APIs, and ensuring compliance with security standards. This includes collaboration with Azure integration developers for seamless data flow.


Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience, particularly in ERP, SaaS migration, or cloud transformations.

• Deep understanding of ERP systems like Unit4, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics, focusing on finance, HR, payroll, procurement, and budgeting modules.

• Proven leadership in on-premise to SaaS ERP migrations, ideally with Unit4 or similar financial ERP systems.

• Knowledge of SaaS architecture, multi-tenant environments, cloud security, and vendor-managed hosting.

• Strong experience with ERP integrations, financial systems, HR/payroll processes, and tools like SQL, Azure, APIs.

• Familiarity with Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, SQL, Key Vault, Event Grid) is beneficial.

• Experience in large-scale IT projects within public sector, municipal, or enterprise environments.

• Ability to work within a PMO framework, employing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• PMP or Agile certifications are preferred.
