Apply for Enterprise Architect

On behalf of our public-sector client, Affinity is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide enterprise architecture portfolio support to the Claims, Insurance, and DL ISD teams.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering architectural guidance for key corporate initiatives such as platform and technology modernization, cloud adoption, and vendor evaluation and selection.

• Developing architecture designs, driving technology decisions, and establishing technology standards. 

• Creating and maintaining technology roadmaps to guide long-term strategic planning. 

• Facilitating IT Community of Practice sessions and leading Cloud Center of Excellence meetings. Deliverables: 

• Reference Architectures 

• Architecture Designs 

• Architecture Decisions 

• Technology Standards 

• Technology Roadmaps 

• IT Community of Practice and Cloud Center of Excellence agendas and outcome summaries.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of Enterprise Architecture experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on cloud expertise supporting medium to large organizations as an Enterprise Architect or Enterprise Solution Architect. 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 

• Ability to think strategically and holistically while applying pragmatic, enterprise-level architectural consistency. 

• Strong leadership capabilities with proven skill in stakeholder engagement and influence. 

• Demonstrated ability to absorb complex information, analyze and synthesize key insights, and translate them into actionable architectural and technology recommendations. 

• Proven experience delivering reference architectures and establishing technology standards for both on-premises and cloud environments.
