Apply for Data Developer

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Data Developer to collaborate within scrum teams to deliver data-driven solutions based on prioritized product stories. Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and provide knowledge transfer to support team development and continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a scrum team(s) to deliver product stories according to priorities set by the organization and the Product Owners.

• Provide knowledge transfer to other team members.

• Interact with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and technologies: DMS, Glue, Step Functions

• Knowledge in RDBMS

• AWS Glue

• Strong experience working with Python and Typescript

• Experience writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing T-SQL queries

• Experience with data modelling & data engineering

• Experience in Agriculture or building software for Agriculture

• Self-starter, ability to work with little direction.

• Critical thinker with natural intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills.

• Strong communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills.

Nice to have:

• Informatica and Teradata knowledge

• Use of process orchestration tool of ActiveBatch
