On behalf of our client in the gaming and entertainment industry, Affinity is seeking a DevOps Platform Architect based in Bogotá, Colombia (Relocation provided if needed). The selected candidate will lead the design and delivery of internal tools and CI/CD platforms that streamline workflows and enhance developer productivity across distributed teams. This is a key leadership role within a global engineering team supporting iconic game franchises. The selected candidate will own the end-to-end vision for the CI/CD developer platform, combining deep architectural expertise with user-centric product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, reusable CI/CD pipeline components for internal developer platforms
- Design and lead the implementation of UIs and command-line tools used for onboarding and configuring applications
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories and prioritize product backlogs accordingly
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle, from technical design to delivery, while adjusting priorities based on internal feedback
- Collaborate closely with platform engineering teams during development to ensure alignment and success
- Present architecture and platform roadmap to internal stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development in a corporate environment
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling CI/CD pipelines for APIs and web apps (especially using GitLab CI)
- 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining internal-facing UIs and CLIs
- 3+ years in a software or solution architect role, responsible for systems design and integration
- 2+ years in product ownership or equivalent strategic leadership role
- Proficient in web frameworks such as Angular or React
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders
