On behalf of our client in the US, Affinity International is seeking a remote QAOps Engineer to help drive test automation, CI/CD pipeline integration, and post-deployment observability for a fast-moving enterprise product team. This role blends test engineering with DevOps—ideal for someone who is both an automation expert and comfortable operating in infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams across India and North America.


Top Skills 

  • 10+ years of hands-on automation experience with C# .NET and Playwright/Cypress
  • 7+ years of DevOps experience working with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management
  • 2+ years Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog (logs, metrics, synthetic testing, alerts)
  • Recent SQL Experience
  • Strong scripting/debugging skills across multiple environments
  • API testing experience using Postman or equivalent tools
  • Bonus: Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6

Qualifications

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Strong command of automation frameworks (Playwright)
  • Proficient with API testing, manual validation, and BDD-style story writing
  • Familiar with observability best practices using DataDog
  • Solid understanding of source control (Git), branching strategies, and infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills across time zones


Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation of acceptance criteria using Playwright and C#
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Monitor test execution and post-deployment health using DataDog dashboards and synthetic monitors
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure testability and observability are built into the pipeline
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Refinement, Planning, Retrospectives)
  • Provide feedback on user stories to ensure they are testable and technically complete
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues alongside DevOps and development teams
  • Support UAT and ensure handoffs to QA/UAT are complete and traceable
  • Coach and support the broader team on automation and test strategy
