We are seeking two technically skilled Cyber Security Analysts to join a growing enterprise security team. This role focuses on cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management across corporate and industrial environments. The successful candidates will have hands-on experience with a range of security technologies, the ability to investigate and respond to threats, and a strong technical foundation in cybersecurity operations. This is an ideal opportunity for early-career professionals with 1–2 years of experience to gain exposure across IT and OT domains in a collaborative, security-first environment.
Responsibilities
· Monitor security events and alerts, triaging incidents, and initiating incident response processes as needed.
· Investigate and respond to security breaches and suspicious activity, documenting findings and coordinating follow-up actions.
· Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in tracking remediation activities across systems.
· Utilize email/web filtering platforms, endpoint protection tools, next-generation firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems to detect and prevent threats.
· Support phishing analysis, including review of reported emails and identification of malicious content.
· Assist in the development of cybersecurity awareness and training materials for staff.
· Contribute to the documentation and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
· Support threat and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across IT and cloud environments.
· Collaborate with other technical teams to implement and refine security controls in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Office 365).
· Maintain knowledge of industry standards and frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity or IT operations role with a focus on monitoring and response.
· Experience using vulnerability assessment tools and analyzing results for remediation planning.
· Familiarity with core cybersecurity technologies including endpoint protection, firewalls, email/web filtering, and IDS/IPS platforms.
· Demonstrated ability to investigate, document, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
· Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, .NET, Java) or DevSecOps workflows is an asset.
· Experience working with or securing cloud-based platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Office 365.
· Understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to contribute to policy documentation and end-user training content.
· Must hold at least one cybersecurity certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA (Security), CEH, or CISSP.
· Must be available to work onsite full-time in Regina, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
