On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the community projects and work with the vendor. The Junior Project Manager will follow established project management methodologies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures as defined by the Project Director and/or delegate.

Qualifications:
• At least six (6) years of combined experience with BC’s Health Organizations (i.e., FHA, FNHA, IHA, VIHA, NHA, PHSA, VCH, and/or PHC).
• At least four (4) years of combined experience with projects involving BC’s Health Organizations (e.g., PHSA, VCH, or PHC) or BC Ministry of Health.
• At least one (1) year of combined experience as a Junior Project Manager of a large complex IT related project(s) where more than one of BC’s Health Organizations (e.g., PHSA, VCH, PHC) were a stakeholder.
• Hands-on experience in an intermediate role for enterprise strategic initiatives.
• Exceptional ability to work across all project areas and identify upstream impacts, downstream impacts, dependencies, and overlapping activities.
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal with audiences at all levels.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to develop well considered, logical, and justifiable options through Briefing Notes (i.e., Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation).
• Must demonstrate a strong ability to follow established project management methodologies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures as defined by the Project Director and/or delegate.
• Exceptional ability to develop and maintain strong and professional working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to influence others, mediate, and move towards a common vision or goal.
• Exceptional skills in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
• Proficient with Microsoft’s suite of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).
Desirable Qualifications
• Valid (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Consultant(s) to include a copy of the valid (unexpired) certificate issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
