This is a hands-on technical support role for someone who loves solving problems, thrives on working directly with customers, and enjoys diving deep into distributed systems, networking, and messaging technologies. You’ll join a global remote team that values curiosity, ownership, and technical precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support to enterprise customers, including design discussions, issue triage, and troubleshooting of distributed systems and messaging infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across networking, software, and infrastructure layers — from misconfigurations and outages to architecture or upgrade challenges.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses (RCA) and create clear technical documentation and knowledge-base articles.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to share insights and improve reliability and customer experience.
  • Contribute to process and tooling improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer success.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to analyze and stabilize distributed systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and explain technical issues to customers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating or supporting messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT, JMS, AMQP, or NATS.io.
  • Familiarity with Go (Golang) for scripting or debugging.
  • Exposure to IoT architectures and cloud vendor solutions (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of security, virtualization, and RAFT consensus algorithms.
  • Experience contributing to or engaging with open-source communities.

Why Join

  • Be part of a global, remote-first team supporting cutting-edge distributed messaging systems used in critical, high-scale environments.
  • Work on technically challenging issues that push the boundaries of connectivity, reliability, and scalability.
  • Influence processes and tooling in a growing support organization that values technical excellence and customer impact.
  • Competitive compensation and opportunities for long-term growth.
