A high-growth martech client is seeking a senior-level AI Consultant to provide architectural guidance and strategic advisory as they expand their AI capabilities. This is a fractional role, ideal for someone who can dedicate limited but consistent hours per week or month to ensure best practices are applied across AI initiatives.

Role Overview:

The AI Consultant will act as a strategic advisor, helping guide the internal team on AI architecture, GenAI implementation, and scalable deployment. The consultant will provide recommendations, flag risks, and help define technical strategy without heavy delivery responsibilities.

Top 3 Must-Have Qualifications:

1. AI Architecture Expertise: Deep understanding of AI system architecture, including Model as a Service, scalable AI design, and deployment patterns.
2. Hands-on GenAI Experience: Proven experience with MCP / RAG, micro-agents, and agent-based architectures.
3. Advisory Mindset: Ability to provide strategic guidance, raise concerns, suggest improvements, and mentor internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MarTech Experience: Experience with Marketing Technology platforms, influencer or creator platforms, or related ecosystems is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with startups or high-growth tech companies.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a fractional AI advisor to leadership.
• Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and technical feedback.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement in AI strategy and execution.
• Support decision-making around AI tooling, patterns, and scalability.
• Ensure internal teams follow best practices and align with strategic goals.
