Apply for Cybersecurity Project Manager

On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead the delivery of key initiatives across Cloud Security, Security Information Event Management (SIEM), and Data Protection, with a focus on the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview).

This role is responsible for advancing cybersecurity capabilities through structured delivery, strong governance, and cross-functional coordination. The Project Manager will drive alignment across teams, manage dependencies, and provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Security (Azure)

• Coordinate delivery of cloud security initiatives aligned with organizational standards.

• Support implementation of secure configuration controls, IAM, and policy enforcement.

• Track remediation and security posture improvements.

Security Monitoring (SIEM – Microsoft Sentinel)

• Coordinate onboarding of priority data sources to support enterprise visibility.

• Support enhancement of detection and monitoring capabilities.

• Track key metrics and report on monitoring effectiveness.

Data Protection (Microsoft Purview)

• Coordinate rollout of data classification and protection controls.

• Support implementation aligned with business operations.

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment to support effective execution.

Cross-Workstream Responsibilities

• Maintain governance practices (cadence, RAID, reporting, escalation).

• Manage cross-team dependencies and delivery alignment.

• Develop executive reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.

• Ensure clear ownership and accountability across initiatives.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in project management or cybersecurity delivery.

• Experience delivering initiatives in Cloud Security, SIEM, or Data Protection.

• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies:

o Azure Microsoft

o Sentinel

o Microsoft Purview

• Experience coordinating across multiple technical and business teams.

• Strong project governance experience (RAID, dependency management, escalation).

• Strong communication skills, including executive reporting.
