As a Recruitment Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Technical Recruiters to recruit top talent for Affinity’s clients while building strong partnerships and relationships with both candidates and the internal team. You will gain experience and skills that will set you up well for a career in recruitment, like how to establish and maintain long-term relationships while delivering high quality candidates in a speed-to-market environment.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Working alongside our Technical Recruiters and learning directly from them 
  • Working on lead generation and business development 
  • Fostering and building relationships with our customers to help them grow our brand 
  • Entering jobs into Target Recruit 
  • Dubbing resumes 
  • Creating response documents for candidates 
  • Reference checks 
  • Recruitment support - candidate sourcing 
  • Recruiting 
  • Performing other duties as required 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • You are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University 
  • You have experience with people – customer service work, volunteering, associations or societies 
  • You have experience with a team environment – varsity or club sports, case study teams, members of an executive for a society or association are all great examples of team environments 
  • You have the ability to work independently and get results – educational achievements or work experience count for this 
  • You have time management and organization skills – managing your class workload, extra curricular activities and/or your work experience 
  • You demonstrate solid communication skills – from school presentations, extra curricular activities and/or work experience
