On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking Senior Business Analysts to support the delivery of complex initiatives by capturing, analyzing, and translating business requirements into effective solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful delivery of project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:

• Capturing business/user requirements, assessing alternative solutions, development business models.

• Solution proposals and designs relating to functional and non-functional areas.

• User stories.

• Requirements Traceability Matrix.

• Training Material.

• Other relevant Business Analyst documentation, as required.

The Senior Business Analyst will be expected to:

• Work in collaboration and support the project team.

• Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.

• Coordinate and facilitate workshops to elicit requirements that support the vision and needs of the business.

• Identify business workflows and determine stakeholder needs.

• Author test case specifications/criteria, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.

Mandatory Requirements

• Required: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of IM/IT experience
• 5+ years of business analysis experience on projects using Agile methodology
• 5+ years (within the last 7 years) of Senior Business Systems Analyst experience, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and training

Scored Requirements:

• 1+ year (within the last 5 years) of experience in business analysis within social services or case/care management environments
• 5+ years (within the last 7 years) of experience facilitating and coordinating requirements gathering activities (e.g., workshops, working sessions), including eliciting, analyzing, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, and translating them into technical requirements
• 5+ years (within the last 7 years) of experience validating requirements through testing, including managing traceability, designing and executing test cases, defining test data, and ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives
• 5+ years (within the last 7 years) with a current certification from a recognized business analysis or Agile organization (e.g., IIBA, SAFe, Agile certifications), with certification details provided
• 5+ years (within the last 7 years) of experience using Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
• 1+ year (within the last 5 years) of experience working in Health and/or Social Services
• 2+ years (within the last 5 years) of experience working with Salesforce CRM and/or Health Cloud
