Apply for Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a variety of business, operational, service delivery, and technology-enabled initiatives. The successful candidate may be assigned to a large strategic program or multiple concurrent projects and will be responsible for establishing direction, coordinating delivery activities, and achieving approved business outcomes. This role supports organizational transformation and continuous improvement through the application of project management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, implementation, transition, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success measures, governance structures, milestones, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and status reports.
• Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies, including predictive, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
• Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate dependencies, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and change requests.
• Prepare and deliver concise, decision-focused reporting to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors and external partners, including procurement support, onboarding, deliverables tracking, performance management, invoice review, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, communications, business analysis, organizational change management, testing, training, deployment, and readiness activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to address architecture, security, privacy, data management, operational readiness, and transition requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, approvals, and records in accordance with organizational standards and project governance requirements.
• Conduct project closeout activities, including transition planning, financial reconciliation, lessons learned, and benefits realization handoff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience delivering a variety of project types, including business process improvements, service delivery enhancements, operational transformation, organizational change, and technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, issue management, change control, reporting, and benefits realization.
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and contracted service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt project delivery methodologies based on project complexity, risk, and stakeholder needs.
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of identifying issues, recommending practical solutions, and driving decisions to completion.
• Experience in complex public-sector, regulated, or enterprise environments is considered an asset.
